Then... came "The Change". The very nature of reality was rearranged.. or so it seemed. Many humans developed amazing abilities... but they were constantly plagued by creatures of their nightmares.

The barriers that kept us from our home, weakened... and in certain strategic places... we were able to cross over them.

The waves of "The Change" eventually left the Earth a barren wasteland. As my people prepared to move on once again... we were struck by some sort of shockwave, like an aftershock of the Change. We were scattered across the Multiverse.

I floated through space... wrapped in a strange bubble of energy that somehow seemed to protect me from the void.

After a time, I saw a streak of green light approach me. The light was an energy trail, left by a man. Green light surrounded him, but a black and white outfit could still be seen through it. A green mask adorned his face... I was shocked when he began to speak... even more so when I found I could understand him.

He introduced himself as Kyle Rayner, Green Lantern of Earth... but I got a sense that his Earth was not the same as mine. He expressed surprise about the green energy that seemed to surround me... and said that it was the same type of energy that he wielded through his ring. He seemed perplexed that the energy seemed to be a part of me and did not come from a ring like his. He told me he had only known two other people who could do that, Sentinal, and Jade.

He began to instruct me on how to harness the energy and use it. He also told me the history of the Green Lantern Corps... who they were and what they stood for.

Soon, it was time to part ways. I told Kyle that I was going to try to return to my Earth. He asked that I think about building a Green Lantern Corps when I reached my home.

I never did make it back to my own world... but instead found a new home on Sosaria. There I founded a Green Lantern Corps.
